Inside EverLetter

A quiet room for the people who still shape your story.

Continue the conversations that shaped your life.

Conversations is a private, voice-first space inside EverLetter where you can keep speaking to loved ones who have passed — not to hear them reply, but to preserve the love, memories, and life updates you still carry.

The relationship does not end simply because the conversation does.

Built with care

Preservation, not simulation

EverLetter does not attempt to recreate loved ones. It preserves the love that already existed — with emotional integrity at every step.

Preservation, not simulation

EverLetter does not recreate loved ones. It preserves the words you choose to speak — with dignity, privacy, and authenticity.

Voice-first reflection

Record thoughts, memories, gratitude, regret, and life updates in your own voice. Audio remains primary; transcripts are optional.

Connected to your family story

Link recordings to timeline events, memories, voice letters, and photos — so conversations stay woven into life, not isolated in grief.

Your privacy, your choice

Every conversation requires a privacy choice: private forever, family archive, or release on a future date — with explicit legacy consent when sharing applies.

Memory anchors

Keep conversations connected to life

After each recording, optionally link it to a family timeline event, existing memory, voice letter, or photo — so remembrance stays woven into your family's story.

Timeline events

A graduation, wedding, or milestone becomes the anchor for a voice message spoken that day.

Memories & voice letters

Connect new recordings to existing capsules — one continuous family archive.

Gentle milestones

Occasional, quiet reflections — never badges or points.

Privacy & legacy

Your words. Your rules. Your family's future.

Every conversation requires an explicit privacy choice. For shared options, legacy consent is required — transparency and trust by design.

Private Forever

Only you may access this conversation. Upon account legacy transfer, it is permanently deleted.

Family Archive

This conversation may become part of your family archive. A verified guardian may access it after legacy transition.

Open Later

Release this conversation in the future — 5, 10, 20 years, or a custom date you choose.

Guardian permissions, clearly defined

Legacy guardians may access Family Archive and eligible Open Later conversations after verified transition — and may export recordings to preserve the archive. They may never access Private Forever conversations, modify recordings, or generate AI responses.

Each conversation also receives a legacy summary — years preserved, connected memories, timeline events — transforming recordings into a meaningful family artifact.

Plans

Available on Family Legacy and above

Conversations is included with Family Legacy, Generations, and Lifetime. Essential members can try one conversation with up to three recordings before upgrading.

Family Legacy — Conversations for your household: a private space for each loved one you're remembering together
Generations — Conversations across your family lineage, with private spaces for each branch as your tree grows
Lifetime — Conversations included forever; your family's voice archive never expires
Essential — trial: 1 conversation, 3 recordings (no AI, no replies)

Common questions

What families ask before they begin

Will my loved one reply with AI?

No. Conversations is voice-only preservation — you speak in your own voice, and nothing speaks back. There are no AI replies, no chatbot, and no simulation of the person you've lost.

Is this grief therapy?

No. Conversations is a private space for remembrance and reflection — not a substitute for professional grief counseling or mental health care. If you're struggling, please reach out to a qualified counselor.

Who can hear my recordings?

You choose for each conversation: Private Forever (only you), Family Archive (eligible guardians after verified legacy transition), or Open Later (released on a future date you set). Private Forever recordings are never shared.

What happens on Essential after three recordings?

Essential includes one conversation with up to three private voice recordings — a gentle way to try Conversations. To continue recording, upgrade to Family Legacy or above.
